The Difference Between Clean and Dirty Air

One of the biggest reasons why customers come to us for air purifiers in Venice, FL is because of the difference they make. Understanding how air goes from being dirty or contaminated, to being fresh and clean, can be an important factor when making decisions for your home. Depending on the time of year, as well as your family’s allergies and medical history, an air purifier might make a huge difference in how you live your life.

We want to approach two topics in today’s blog. The first will be about the difference between clean air and dirty air. The second part will be about how specifically an air purifier changes that dirty air into clean air. We’ll discuss the science behind air purifiers, while also touching on the way these systems can be paired well with air filtration units too.

Our hope is that you feel confident knowing whether or not an air purifier is right for you after reading this blog.

What Does Dirty Air Feel Like?

Dirty air can come in a variety of different ways. Depending on the type of contaminants in your home’s air, it can feel different.

For instance, stuffy air is what we usually call air that’s inundated with dust and dirt. These kinds of particles settle over time, which means that any movement throughout your home feels like it’s kicking up old material, which can make a home feel like it’s a relic, or an old dusty house that hasn’t been cleaned–even if this is far from the truth. Dust and dirt can be cleaned out of the air with an air filtration system.

Then foul smelling air can be attributed to different causes. Dust and dirt rarely smells bad in the air, but things like mold and bacteria can create foul odors that are easy for our noses to pick up on. If your home has a foul odor, then that’s something an air purifier can fix.

If your air makes you sick, then you might also have certain contaminants in your air like viruses, mold, bacteria, or other types of contaminants. Again, we’d recommend using an air purifier to make your home’s air safe for breathing.

What Does Clean Air Feel Like?

Imagine coming home after a long day of work and taking a deep breath. Perhaps you get a scent from incense that you burned yesterday, or you can smell the food cooking in the kitchen. The only odors you get, or feelings that you receive from your home’s air, are good ones. That’s what clean air feels like.

Air purifiers don’t remove the good parts of a home’s smell, like the scent of a home-cooked meal or baking cookies. They only remove the bad parts contaminating your home, like viruses, bacteria, and mold spores.

Achieving a Big Difference

Achieving this difference isn’t hard. Start today with either an air purifier or an air filtration system so you can relax in your own home. Wouldn’t it be nice to take a deep breath and focus on other things in your life, instead of how distasteful your home’s air is?
